| Start adding red (scarlet lake) and blend it in the shadows with canary yellow and white. The middle of the flower I've added red (either pomegranate or scarlet lake or both) plus some indigo for some dark accents as well as white for highlights. I used indigo as well as canary yellow and white on the stem. This still needs all the petals finished and some refining and detail work. Be aware that the two photos directly above are not the greatest as they were taken indoors with my phone. |
