Next Class project

The colored pencil piece.  I added a few more shadows on the face, hat and shirt.  It needs to be darker in the background and it needs more details.

The watercolor project.  I added a purple wash with yellow 'dots' to the blue background, I added a few more shadows to the shirt and face and lifted out the back of the hat.  The hat needs work and maybe a tiny bit more detail on the shirt.

Acrylic project.  I added a glaze of yellow over the blue in the background and worked on the hat.  I only did a tiny bit to the shirt and added some shadows to the face.  I needs a little more work (and some ironing, sorry about the wrinkles, one of which is on the nose)

Watercolor - added a dark blue background, it will need more washes of color.  Added more dark values to the shirt.  The hat needs more detail.  The face needs more values, I added some dark values and warmer tones, but it needs more shadow.  We talked about hard edges, soft edges, and lost edges.

Acrylic - dark blue background, it will need more layers of color and the painting needs some soft and lost edges (to 're-attach' her to the painting).  Added more light and dark values to the shirt.  The hat needs more detail and the face needs more values.
