I have worked more on this with the white and black ink. I could keep going and finish this with the ink. If I were going to finish with the ink I would do ink on the background as well and I would continue adjusting the values and detail on the subject, and add more color with watercolor.
If you enjoy the ink keep in mind that there are colored inks as well. Those with watercolor are beautiful, a friend and former studio mate of mine from when I lived in Tennessee works that way.
In the next class we will work with colored pencil to show what the colored pencil can do over the ink and watercolor.
