NCBG Acrylic (November 2015)

Local color.  This was demonstrated in class.  I mixed a green, dampened the paper, and painted the green, flat.

Value Study.  This was demonstrated in class.  I mixed a green, grayed down (could have used a gray or a color), dampened the paper inside the pepper shape, and painted the pepper paying attention to the values.  I painted a value study.

This is the local color of the bud I had done at home before class.
This was demonstrated in class - I started adding some highlights with titanium white.

This is the value study in gray of the pepper I had done at home before class.
This was demonstrated in class - I mixed green and painted the green over the value study.  I then used titanium white to begin reinforcing highlights.
