Continuing Watercolor (March/April 2013)

I showed some gouache on this (adding some dark over white gouache) and I have worked on a few leaves and petals as well.

Added darks and shadows to the hat and scarf as well as a glaze of yellow.  I painted the glasses, bright first.  After that was dry I toned them down with a gray watercolor and later added an area of gouache.  I reshaped the earring with white gouache and later painted it with blue (cobalt).  I used a dark red to add shadows and details to the coat.  Then I added more yellow.  I wet and then painted in cobalt (very light) to the background.  I added more shadows and detail to the face.  I added blue shadows to the hair.  It all needs some refining, but it's going in the right direction.
