Tuesday Afternoon

Colored pencil.  I added more layers of value (dark and light) as well as color and detail.  I used sienna brown, black, true blue, white, and dark brown.  Think values, values, values!

Acrylic.  This is the first pass of acrylic on the hawk.  I first painted the background blue.  Then I mixed several  values of brown and quickly laid in the hawk (very wet paint).  I did the white and black areas as well.  Then ext step will be to adjust the values and add details.
