Tuesday Afternoon

Acrylic.  I mixed a warm brown and painted over the other layers.  I mixed a blue (remember I added a little brown to the blue as it was too bright) and painted the cloth areas.  Later, after it was dry, I started adding highlights to the skin and ribbon.  I used very wet solutions of pure white and white with a little bit of local color (the color of the object). 

Colored pencil.  I covered the cloth with true blue and used white for the highlights and indigo for the shadows.  The red of the paper tones down the blue a little.
