Aqueous Acrylics (May/June 2013)

Acrylic on primed masonite prepped with Watercolor Ground.  I transferred the drawing, wet the surface, and dropped in color.  While still wet - shiny, and not a puddle - I added salt.  This all dire and then I painted the bottom part of the beak and white around the eye.

Acrylic on primed masonite (primed with kilz 2).  I wet the surface and added a dark and some blue for the background.  After that dried a painted with white.  In two areas I painted color over the white.
