Tuesday Afternoon

Colored pencil on reddish-orange mat board (smooth).  I first used white under the bright yellow areas and then added canary yellow on top - remember use a light touch.  I used black for the dark areas and canary yellow right over the orange for the yellow-orange areas.

Watercolor.  I mixed a dark purple color and laid in the dark areas (so we would not lose the drawing).  I changed the value of the dark slightly as needed.

Acrylic.  I added some texture, color, and values to the background.  I will add some leaves and then add the butterfly next class.
