This is the colored pencil flower on white paper.  I did the magenta value study and added true blue and sunburst yellow to the petals.  I lifted with the adhesive putty and darkened with more magenta and true blue to further accentuate the values.  I worked more on the leaves starting with a value study using olive green.  Then I added dark green, sunburst yellow and magenta.  I lifted with the adhesive putty as needed and darkened with the dark green, or olive green as needed (I did use a little true blue as well).  The sunburst yellow is used as a glaze on both the petals and leaves.
